NSDF provides financial assistance to Krishna Poonia

New Delhi, May 19 (UNI) The government today approved financial assistance under Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports to discuss thrower Krishna Poonia, who will be training under Mac Wilkins at Olympic Training Center, in US.
The star athlete has given financial assistance of 14000 dollars a month for two months from the National Sports Development.
This sanction is against the projected training expenses of 9300 dollars per month (including 3000 dollars per month as coaching fee), as per the invoice, plus air travel, visa, insurance the ministry said here in a release.
