Three persons were killed in three different accidents here.
An elderly woman voter succumbed to injuries sustained from an accident on election day here. The victim Kaveriammal was crossing the road with her son Mohan near Nallampalli to head to polling booth, when a speeding vehicle knocked her down. Kaveriamma was admitted to Dharmapuri government hospital, where she succumbed on Wednesday.
In another accident, a 23-year-old man was killed after the bike he along with two other friends was riding was hit by a car here in Dharmapuri on Tuesday.
The victim Murugan along with two other friends was returning on his bike from Palacodde to Dharmapuri, when they were hit by a car. Murugan was killed on the spot.
A Salem man was fatally knocked down from his two-wheeler here by a mini-lorry on Tuesday.
The victim Ragupathy (23) of Dadikaranur in Sangagiri was returning to after visiting a friend in Krishnagiri on his bike at the time of the accident.
Ragupathy was killed on the spot after hit by a mini-lorry near Matlampatty in Dharmapuri.
