District collector inaugurates computerized section of GCDA

Kochi: District collector M G Rajamanickam inaugurated the computerized finance section of the Greater Cochin Development Authority (GCDA) at Kadavanthra on Wednesday.
On the first day, the finance section received a demand draft of Rs 28 lakh for booking the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium in Kaloor.
Now, shopowners will be able to pay their rents online, and this will be automatically registered in the system.Accounting, salary bill, personnel information and budget control will also go online. Allotment details of rooms in complexes owned by GCDA will also become more transparent.
The development authority will implement web package in the next phase.
