Tala Maddale Saptaha from Monday

The Yakshagana Kalaranga, Sri Krishna Mutt, Department of Kannada and Culture, and Karnataka Bank Ltd. will be organising a Tala Maddale Saptaha titled ‘Shapanugraha’ at Rajangana here from May 23 to 29.

Addressing presspersons here on Wednesday, Murali Kadekar, secretary of Yakshagana Kalaranga, said the episodes that will be featured in the weeklong festival are: ‘Bhrigu-Vishnu’, composed by Sridhar D.S., on May 23’, ‘Durvasa-Vishnu’, composed by Balipa Narayana Bhagawat, on May 24; ‘Vishnu-Bhargava’, composed by Madhukumar Bola, on May 25’, ‘Gautama-Srirama’, composed by Siddakatte Vishwanath Shetty and Hosathota Manjunath Bhagawat, on May 26; ‘Sthulashira-Srirama’, composed by Sridhar D.S., on May 27; ‘Sankadigalu-Vishnu’, composed by Balipa Narayan Bhagawat and Kasaragod Subraya Pandit, on May 28; and ‘Urvashi-Indra’, composed by Vishnu Varamballi, on May 29.
