Cafe chain Komeda to list in Tokyo

NAGOYA -- Japanese cafe operator Komeda will go public on the Tokyo Stock Exchange as early as late June, The Nikkei learned Wednesday.

The Nagoya-based company has already filed for the initial public offering, and is expected to receive approval from the bourse by the end of May. It hopes to gain visibility and to make inroads beyond its home base of Japan's Chubu region.
