Pearle to play a biker in Sreesanth-starrer
It’s well-known that anchor-actress Pearle Maaney is also an ace biker, who has displayed her skills both on small screen and in films like Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi.
Soon, she will be getting a chance to perform stunts on her mean machine, in her upcoming movie Team Five, which has cricketer Sreesanth playing the lead. The film is directed and scripted by debutant Suresh Govind.
“Pearle plays Aleena, who is a bubbly, sporty girl and is into biking,” says the director.
“She is a college student and her character brings in the twist and change of tone in the film. At the same time, she can’t be termed a freak. Even in looks, she comes across as a normal girl. Also, the film showcases two phases in the life of her character. ”
The team would be shooting the biking sequences mostly in Bangalore, Goa and Fort Kochi. The film has two strong female protagonists, the other role being played by Nikki Galrani.
Pearle, who is currently co-hosting a dance reality show says that she is all set to hone her biking skills. “I will have to train a bit for the role and learn stunts like wheelies, which professional stunt bikers often perform at shows. I am quite excited, but also tensed thinking whether I would end up hurting myself as the stunts aren’t easy to pick up and would need some careful, focused training. ‘Make sure there is enough of cotton stuffed around me,’ I have told the team,” she says. The actress is also excited to meet Sreesanth. “I have never met him before, but have heard that he is a wonderful artiste and an affable personality,” she says.
