    Idea expands 4G coverage in Karanataka circle

    In 29 out of these over 61 towns, Idea has also become the sole operator to provide 4G LTE services.

    NEW DELHI: Idea Cellular has expanded its hi-speed 4G LTE service to 22 more towns in Karnataka circle, taking the total tally to 61, covering all major towns across all 27 districts.

    Idea’s world class 4G LTE service is available in the major towns of Mangalore, Hubli-Dharwad, Hospet, Udupi, Davangere, Hassan, Kolar, Tumkur, Bijapur, Bagalkot and Bidar, in addition to the existing towns of Bangalore, Mysore, Belgaum and Chitradurga; where services were launched earlier.



    Idea’s 4G network in Karnataka is built on a strong foundation of a total 2,450 4G sites and will continue to expand as more and more users join the Idea 4G LTE family.
