Arsenal are letting go of at least three senior squad players this summer: Mikel Arteta, Tomas Rosicky and Mathieu Flamini.
While Arsene Wenger will be losing a lot of experience from his dressing room he is also taking a sizeable chunk off the wage bill.
So, how much are they all on? Arteta is reportedly still on £80,000 a week while Flamini is on c.£65,000 a week and Rosicky is at about £85,000 a week.
In total that means the Gunners are going to be somewhere in the region of £230,000 a week (£11.96million a year) better off.
Assuming Arsenal do re-negotiate the contracts of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez, that could leave them with about £150,000-£180,000 for new players (plus any extra they feel like spending).
