We've now learnt that he is turning director, with his film ready to roll next week.
While Kirik chose to be extremely secretive about the project, prodding him ensured that he did share some information.
'We begin shooting from May 23 and plan to finish the shoot schedule at one stretch, with the aim of releasing around November. My lead actor is a 27-year-old newbie named Suman, who comes from the IT sector. Aditi Rao is the female lead. While I have written the script, Kannada rapper Chandan Shetty is the music director. Vikram Yoganand, who has shot popular music videos like Haalaagode and Namma Bengaluru, will be our cinematographer,' he says.
Talking about the film, Kirik says, 'It is a romantic murder mystery. If I were to sum it up in one line, it would be ' It's is our love story, but my girl is the villain for my love.'
