Jogger hit by flying kangaroo in Kangaroo Flat near Bendigo

A JOGGER has been injured by an airborne kangaroo in Kangaroo Flat.

A car reportedly struck the roo while driving in Kangaroo Flat about 6am today.

As a result of impact the kangaroo struck the male jogger, who was running near Phillis St.

The man in his 20s suffered leg injuries and was assessed by paramedics at the scene.

He was not taken to hospital. The driver of the car was uninjured.
