The three-day annual Padmavati Parinayotsavam ended on a grand note on Tuesday at the famous hill temple of Lord Venkateswara.

As part of the culminating ceremony, the processional deity of Lord Malayappa Swamy was brought to the venue – Narayanagiri gardens in a grand procession on Garuda vahanam where the priests ceremoniously carried out the events relating to the celestial parinayam (marriage).

Thousands of devotees took part in the festival that lasted for more than three hours.

Meanwhile, the hill town was abuzz with pilgrim activity.

Braving the incessant drizzling, devotees queued up for the darshan of the deity.
