Teen sustains serious injuries in Silverthorn stabbing

Toronto police are responding to a stabbing in the city’s west end.
Officers arrived at the scene shortly after 4 p.m. to find at least one male teen has been stabbed near Ewart Avenue and Keele Street.
The victim has sustained serious injuries to his left shoulder and has been transported to hospital.
Police believe the suspect is a tall black man in his 40’s wearing a brown jacket.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact police.
