MLA seeks probe into Karnal trust
Chandigarh: Palwal MLA and senior Congress leader Karan Singh Dalal on Tuesday sought a probe into the functioning of Karnal Development Fund Trust, while linking it to chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
Onteracting with newspersons after lodging a formal complaint with Haryana governor Kaptan Singh Solanki, Dalal alleged that the trust was owned by one Satish Kumar Khattar, who claimed to be a close relative of the CM.

"This is an unregistered trust and has the Karnal deputy commissioner and builders on its board. The trust even charges money in the garb of donation for including members of the governing council," said Dalal. "Despite the fact that government officers cannot join any private organization like such trusts, the DCs in the past have acted as member and forced companies to pay donations," he alleged. Dalal said he had asked the governor to get the matter probed and provide details about funds of the trust.
