Have to bring matrimonial disputes before the Supreme Court's vacation bench? Think again, perhaps.

As counsel, you would not only have had to explain the urgency before the two-judge bench of justices Abhay Manohar Sapre and Ashok Bhushan, but you would have also had to listen to the unsolicited advice from Justice Sapre.

Here are two sample pieces of wisdom that Sapre offered to parties since yesterday during mentioning time, seemingly to discourage matrimonial disputes being brought before the bench during the vacation:

1. To a husband in the USA, and his wife in India, who urged early hearing of their dispute:

This is the best time for the wife to go to the USA and spend the vacation.

To the wife's counsel who said she doesn't have the visa:

Apply for visa, you will get it.

2. To a couple who claimed to be on the brink of breakdown, and therefore, argued that an urgent hearing was justified:

Start living together, no urgency.
