ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister of Finance Ishaq Dar, who is a key member of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s kitchen cabinet, has said that the prime minister has directed for formation of a parliament committee to discuss the ToRs. He said the terms of reference suggested by the government for Panama Leaks probe are not final and the government is ready to hold talks on these conditions.
Dar said that the speaker will form the parliament committee over the Panama Papers, which will be comprised of the members of the National Assembly and the Senate. He said the members of the committee will be decided with mutual consultation of the government and the opposition.
He was of the opinion that the ToRs issue has created split in the opposition ranks adding that those who staged sit-ins in the past will become isolated soon
