In a letter today to deputy chief minister, Kameng Dolo, who also holding home portfolio, the BJP requested to initiate necessary administrative action against the erring superintendent of police (SP) Tirap, who manhandled a senior worker as well as executive member of the party, Tirap, Lainkham Wangsu, without any provocation yesterday at his office chamber, even after the formal appointment was given to him. A copy of the letter made available to the press said that the brutal act of SP taking law into his hand by the public servants is matter of serious concern. The beating and manhandling of the innocent party workers by the senior IPS official, that too the rank of the SP (APP) is un-called and condemnable, it added.
