Extremely professional and talented actress Flora Saini, who will be next seen in Nagesh Kukunoor's 'Dhanak', Is a huge fan of veteran actor Dimple Kapadia. Surprisingly, the Limca Book of Records winner Flora, who plays a tribal woman belonging to Kalbeila tribe in 'Dhanak', was awestruck by Dimple's film 'Rudaali'.
Like all Nagesh's stories, 'Dhanak' is inspirational and spells hope and triumph.
Flora, who is playing a tribal women in the film says, "Nagesh sir is a school in himself. I learnt lots from him in 'Lakshmi' and in 'Dhanak'. He totally focuses on keeping everything very natural ' like we speak and behave in daily life and not acting."
While shooting in the interiors of Rajasthan is an experience she is unlikely to forget. "Being a hard core animal lover I had the opportunity of shooting with a camel. Incidentally, my first time near a camel ever and that's something I will never forget," says the pretty actor with a laugh, adding, "I even remember his name Thela." Talking about her look in the film Flora says, "I had seen Dimple Kapadia look beautiful in Rudaali and took inspiration from her for my look in Dhanak. Dimple ma'am looked so beautiful in that film, with those tattoos and tribal jewellery, that's something I too have tried to incorporate in my look," says the actor.
While shooting in Rajasthanhe, Flora also enjoyed the traditional mithai like Ghewar and Boondi Laddu. "Those were a total treat," says the actor. Flora is still awed as she talks about the bright hand-woven clothes, beaded jewellery and big belts worn by the tribes' women.
Flora's name has been included in the Limca Book of Record as the actress with most number of films released in a day. Two Kannada and one Telugu film featuring her as the lead protagonist released on the same day. Flora has worked with Nagesh Kukunoor previously in Lakshmi and has also played pivotal roles in movies like MSG, Guddu Ki Gun and also made a cameo in 'Dabangg 2'.
