Gaiety marks 3-day cultural extravaganza Utopia 2016 in Kolkata

Utopia 2016, a three-day cultural extravaganza from May 9 - 11 saw participation from a large number of colleges of the city. There were myriad activities to participate in.
Students from different college like Vidyasagar College, Rabindra Bharati, Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management, Heritage Institute of Technology, Scottish Church, Shri Shikshayatan, Ashutosh College, City College and Vidya Bharati College participated in the fest.Some of the competitions held in the fest were inter college dance competition, inter college fashion show etc.
“We are proud to organize this kind of cultural events wherein we engage our students into various extracurricular activities. Students of today are the achievers of tomorrow. Utopia gives them a platform to showcase their creative skills and win accolades for their achievements.," said Mr. K. K. Kejriwal, Managing Trustee, MCKVIE.
The fest witnessed high decibel performance from band Underground Authority. A DJ night was also conducted on the second day of the fest. The last day of the fest concluded with a mellifluous performance by popular bollywood singer Amit Mishra.
