Kanye West's Maybach Refuses to Start, the Smirk on His Face Briefly Disappears

Everybody loves Kanye West, and that's not something that comes easy when you're one of the big names in showbiz. But how could we not like a guy who has the mind of a six-year-old and thinks he's the second coming of Jesus Christ?

Seriously now, how many professional comedians managed to make you laugh as hard as Kanye did, and he didn't even use routines, he didn't learn lines or anything. It was all natural. The mind refuses to acknowledge the possibility of not loving a guy who said this: “One of my biggest Achille's heel has been my ego. And if I, Kanye West, can remove my ego, I think there’s hope for everyone.” And also this: “I am God's vessel. But my greatest pain in life is that I will never be able to see myself perform live.” OK, you can stop laughing now.

Yeah, curb your chuckles, but only because there's more to come once you click play on that video. Kanye might have become known to the world due to his music, but he rose to the superstar status thanks to his unprecedently bloated ego (as well as the fact that he married Kim Kardashian). So if you want to get on his good side, you have to make sure you tickle that ego in just the right spot.

Kanye, how's the world's number one superstar?”, for instance, is a perfectly acceptable greeting, and one that the person filming the clip below employs to good use. Kanye's cold, indifferent attitude as he came out of the office suddenly changes to a more relaxed one. In fact, even that self-sufficient smirk he's shown us so many times before makes an appearance.

But it was going to be short-lived, as it's quickly chased away by some German engineering problems. As Kanye gets into a Mercedes-Maybach limousine and tries to start the engine, the car has other plans. This is clearly the first time Kanye has ever had problems starting a car, becoming visibly impatient. The camera man is on the spot, zooming in at just the right time for added drama.

The Maybach spares Kanye of any further humiliation and gets the engine going on the second try, so the “world's number one superstar” can get on his way. But not before somebody from the audience had the chance to crack a joke at him: “They let you borrow the car for one minute, and you break it.” You, my friend, are going to burn in hell for making fun of “God's vessel.”
