Bail for Adityanath in 12-year-old case

BJP MP Yogi Adityanath and five others from Hindu Yuva Vahini (HYV) were granted bail on personal bonds on Monday by the additional chief judicial magistrate's (ACJM) court, Sidhdharthnagar, in a 12-year-old case.

Gorakhpur: BJP MP Yogi Adityanath and five others from Hindu Yuva Vahini (HYV) were granted bail on personal bonds on Monday by the additional chief judicial magistrate's (ACJM) court, Sidhdharthnagar, in a 12-year-old case. The men had been booked for violating section 144 by holding a rally in Sahiyapur, Dumariyaganj, of Sidhdharthnagar district in 2004.

Soon after, the MP said, "The judiciary must be honoured and I honour the judiciary with my whole heart." The court had issued a non-bailable warrant (NBW) against the leader and his five associates two month ago following which, all appeared before the court and sought bail.
Apart from him, the ACJM also accepted the bail plea of HYV state president Raghvendra Pratap Singh , Rakesh Singh, Vivek Singh and Vijay Narayan Singh.
