Music: Singing Divas of Bollywood

Take a trip down memory lane as singers Shoma Banerjee, Shailaja Subramanian, Shilpa Burman Roy and Sangeeta Vyas pay tribute to the singers who gave voice to yesteryear’s starlets. The event will celebrate an era of Hindi film music from Kanan Devi to Lata Mangeshkar and honour women’s contribution to film music. The singers will take the audience through the 40s to the 70s, rendering the favourite songs from that era. The performances will be interspersed with anecdotes from the lives of the yesteryear singers. Tickets are priced between Rs. 300 and Rs. 1,000.
