K.K. Rema, Revolutionary Marxist Party candidate and wife of slain RMP leader T.P. Chandrasekharan has alleged that the recent attack against her during the election campaign in Vadakara was a well-planned one by the CPI (M) workers.
Ms. Rema, while visiting the polling booths in Vadakara on Monday, said it was mean of the CPI(M) to dub the attack on her as ‘political drama.’
“As part of our campaigns, we went to one of the strongholds of the CPI (M) in the area. Is there any logic to think that someone would play a political drama there for election gains ?”she said.
Referring to the huge turnout of voters in the Vadakara Assembly constituency, Ms. Rema said the political sentiments of people in the region were largely in her favour.
Women voters will vote against ‘murder’ politics, says RMP candidate Rema.
