Hubballi girl Shafa Irfan Bhandari has secured 621 marks out of 625 in the SSLC examination, the results of which were announced on Monday.

Shafa Bhandari, a student of Lions English Medium School, Vijayanagar, Hubballi, is the daughter of Senior Section Officer in South Western Railway Irfan Bhandari and homemaker Seema.

Shafa Bhandari has scored 100 each in Kannada, Hindi and Science, 123 in English and 99 in Social Studies.

A proud and happy Irfan Bhandari told The Hindu that his daughter was interested in pursuing engineering, particularly architecture, and would choose the science stream in the pre-university course.
