Senior leader Anam Vivekananda Reddy along with his sons and followers took formal membership of the ruling Telugu Desam Party here at NTR Bhavan on Monday.

Amid a lot of excitement and anticipation, Mr. Vivekananda Reddy and his group arrived at the NTR Bhavan in the morning hours. His sons Anam Chenchu Subba Reddy and Anam Ranga Mayur Reddy, who is a corporator, were also present on the occasion.

TDP district president Beeda Ravi Chandra formally welcomed the senior leader at the office and he was present when they were being enrolled into the party. Later, speaking to reporters, Mr. Vivekananda Reddy said that it was under the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu alone that the new State of Andhra Pradesh would be able to regain former glory and see real development in all spheres of economy. Mr. Vivekananada Reddy came down heavily on the opposition YSR Congress, saying that its leader Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy had no moral right to criticise the TDP on any ground as he had abused power during the time of his father’s term as the Chief Minister of the united State.
