Andhra Pradesh Transport Minister Sidda Raghava Rao on Monday exuded confidence that Navya Andhra would forge ahead in development overcoming bifurcation blues.
Addressing a public meeting organised to mark the TDP coming to power two years ago on this day, he said the Chandrababu Naidu government was leaving no stone unturned to mop resources from all sources to put the State on the path of progress.
The efforts of the State government to unleash the growth potential of the State endowed with a vast coastline would pay dividends in the coming years, hoped Mr. Raghava Rao, also co-chairman of the Infrastructure Mission. Prakasam district was sure to shed the backward tag soon as and when the big ticket projects, including Donakonda industrial city, National Investment and Manufacturing Zone (NIMS) and Ramayapatnam sea port come to fruition, he added.
Ongole MLA D. Janardhana Rao highlighted various development initiatives taken up at a cost of Rs. 400 crore to give a facelift to the city and promised to mobilise funds from the Central and State governments for civic infrastructure projects.
