Standard XII student ends life

Nagpur:Kajal Dongre, 16, standard XII student, committed suicide by hanging at his residence in Amar Nagar on Hingna road on Sunday. Her father, Ramchandra, has lodged a complaint with the MIDC police who have registered the case as accidental death. As of now, police are unsure about the reason behind her taking the drastic step.
Police said Kajal had used a nylon rope to hang from ceiling hook in the kitchen.Kajal’s parents had gone to a relative’s place while her younger sister had gone to play when the incident took place. It was Kajal’s younger sister, aged 10 years, who first spotted the hanging body. The neighbours were alerted by Kajal’s younger sister who in turn informed her parents.
Police said no suicide note found from the house. Assistant PI PM Kale of MIDC police station said further investigation is underway.
