FortisTCI announces the appointment of Ms. Claudia Been-Munnings to Director of Human Resources effective as of Monday, April 25, 2016.

Ms. Been-Munnings is a Human Resources professional whose experience spans over sixteen years of Human Resources Management. She has extensive knowledge of and experience in recruitment, leadership, training, development, benefits, and compensation. She is also well versed in public and private sector operations and Immigration and Labour relations within the Turks and Caicos Islands. Ms. Been-Munnings has led all aspects of human resource functions during her tenures within the Hospitality and Aviation sectors, the latter of which was her most recent post and required the effective and successful development and implementation of H.R. and training systems for a highly regulated work environment. Ms. Been-Munnings holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of West Indies Mona and has numerous Human Resources related certificates.

In her new capacity with FortisTCI, Ms. Munnings will serve as a key member of the Senior Management Team, with responsibility for directing the Company’s human resource strategy while promoting an employee-oriented organization culture that emphasizes continuous improvement, teamwork, engagement, high performance and excellence.

MAY 30  •  Congratulations to Mrs. Been-Munning and well, Fortis. Claudia is a wealth of knowledge, dedicated and a hard worker. She is well respected in her community and has contributed much to the academic growth of our nation. Many students have passed through her hands. She is definitely one of sound judgement and a person of the people. Claudia is without a doubt an asset to Fortis. I look forward to the great things that will happen as a result of this appointment.
