Controversial singer Sinéad O’Connor was found Monday after she was reported missing, WLS-TV in Chicago reported. O’Connor went on a bike ride Sunday and did not return. She scared her family and friends when she posted a cryptic Facebook message hours after she went missing.

Covering one of Chicago’s northern suburbs, the Wilmette Beacon tweeted Monday:

Concern about O’Connor’s well-being soared when she posted a confusing Facebook message to her verified account. “What you have done to your brother and your mother is literally criminal,” she wrote in her post. “And do not abandon your brother or any other of my babies again.” The message garnered more than 1,000 reactions and attracted hundreds more comments.

The incident did not represent the first time O’Connor, 49, went missing and was feared to be suicidal. Back in November, she posted a Facebook message that caused serious concern when she said she took an overdose and nobody would be able to find her.

More recently, the “Nothing Compares 2 U” singer raised eyebrows when she accused the former TV talk-show host Arsenio Hall of providing drugs to the music performer Prince, who died of a rumored overdose April 21. “Anyone imagining prince was not a long time hard drug user is living in cloud cuckoo land. Arsenio I’ve reported you to the Carver County Sheriff’s office. Expect their call,” she wrote in her May 3 post. Hall has indicated he intends to sue O’Connor for $5 million in a libel lawsuit, describing her as a “desperate” “attention-seeker” with whom he hasn’t been in contact for 25 years.

O’Connor hasn’t issued an official statement since she was located Monday.
