They were released two days after Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi sought a permanent solution to the fishemen issue during talks with Srilankan President Maithripala Sirisena in New Delhi. U.Arulanandam, President of Alliance for Release of Innocent Fishermen (ARIF) said here that 34 fishermen and 96 Indian fishing boats were under the custody of Srilankan government.
