Shantall is in the Emerging Entrepreneur category, which is open to businesses that have been in existence for three years or less. “I am humbled by this opportunity and inspired to learn more from my peers and mentors and their business journeys,” says Shantall. “I believe that both my business and staff can benefit greatly from the examples and milestones that they have achieved.”
This year, the Cape region received over 65 nominations from BWA members. Seventeen finalists were selected across the various categories by the judging panel of Andrew Galloway of RSM Betty & Dicksen, Colleen Louw of Primedia, Nomzamo Kasana of Glacier, Kobus Swart of Sanlam and Jaqueline Burge of Rarity Handbags.
The winners will be announced at a gala event on 28 July 2016 at Kelvin Grove in Cape Town.
