Trigger loving ex-serviceman shoots dead his cousin while playing cards in Jhajjar village

CHANDIGARH: A trigger friendly ex serviceman shot dead his first cousin following the arguments while playing cards at Chhochi village of Beri sub division of Jhajjar district, on Sunday night.
Identified as Rajpal (35) a contract employee of BSNL died on the spot. His brother Jai Singh, who tried to mediate also suffered bullet injuries. Rajpal who suffered bullet injuries in chest and head died while Jai Singh has been rushed to PGIMS Rohtak.

A case under sections 302 of IPC and various sections of Arms Act has been registered against accused ex seerviceman Dharminder at Dighal police station. Dharminder Singh is on the run and police parties are conducting raids to arrest him.
Sub inspector Jai Bhagwan, who is also an investigating officer said that, Raj Pal's body has been handed over to family after postmortem examinations.
According to information, Dharminder and Rajpal had an argument with each other when the two were playing cards near their house. Since both are cousins hence nobody could expect as the dispute would take such an ugly turn.
Police said that following few minutes of arguments, the two had altercation and following this Dharminder took out his licensed revolver to fire on Rajpal from close range, leaving him unconscious in the pool of blood.
Notably, Rajpal's children ie son Dev and daughter Bhoomi were eye witness to the incident when Dharminder Singh at Rajpal/
Rajpal's father Khushi Ram ruled out if the family had anykind of difference with Dharminder's family. What was his fault. Why did he shoot my son, the sole bread earner of family,'' said Khushi ram who was yet to come to the terms of incident.
