Sankararapu and Marla, both researchers from IIT Mumbai, were featured on the inaugural list, in the consumer technology category, chosen from amongst thousands of nominations, according to Rana Wehbe, Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia Editor.

Arya.ai, a platform for enterprises and developers, provides deep learning tools or algorithms to build smart applications quickly. Some of the most influential alumni of Forbes 30 under 30s include Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, who was selected to this prestigious list in 2011.
Arya.ai founders will rub shoulders with some of the most influential young entrepreneurs, innovators and game-changers from across Asia primarily and the rest of the world who gather for the Forbes’ First-Ever “Under 30 Summit Asia” on May 19 in Singapore.
The Infocomm Development Authority (IDA) of Singapore is the host partner of the summit. The Forbes Under 30 Summit Asia is part of Singapore’s Smart Nation Innovations Week, a festival where tech meets innovation.
The summit will also bring together industry leaders who served as judges for the Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Asia list. The achievers were chosen by a Forbes panel of judges that included American venture capitalist Kaifu Lee, Hong Kong businesswoman Solina Chau, and Japanese-French fashion designer Kenzo Takada.
