Ghana deputy captain Andre Ayew drew the curtains down on his debut English Premier League season in style by scoring his 12th goal of the campaign against Manchester City on Sunday at the Liberty Stadium in South Welsh.

While Christian Atsu left a good impression for Malaga to make a permanent offer for him by coming off the bench to score in their La Liga win.

Young Ghanaian striker Okyere Wriedt netted his 21st goal in Germany while Nana Poku hit a brace in Egypt.

There were goals for Patrick Nyarko and Charles Sapong in the USA, Eric Kwakwa and Thomas Boakye in Sweden.

Elsewhere in Austria David Atanga grabbed his 10th goal of the season in Austria and Asamoah Gyan suffered a fresh injury scare in China.

There were bad news for Isaac Cofie and Raman Chibsah whose sides have suffered relegation in Italy.

NETHERLANDS
In the Promotion Play-offs, Dutch-born Ghanaian striker Johnathan Opoku was in full time action for ten-man VVV Venlo who slipped to a 1-0 away loss against Go Ahead Eagles.

Manchester City loanee Divine Naah came off the bench to play for NAC Breda in their 1-0 loss at Eindhoven FC.

AUSTRIA
German-born Ghanaian Reagy Ofosu came off the bench to inspire Grodig to a 3-2 win over Mattersburg in the Bundesliga.

Ghana youth midfielder David Atanga scored the second goal for Liefering in their 2-2 draw with Austria Lustenau on Friday. Ghana defender Isaac Vorsah was declared fitness and he lasted 56 minutes for Liefering while attacker Raphael Dwamena also played 79 minutes for the home side but goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi was not in the Liefering squad for the game.

BELGIUM
Former New Edubiase United midfielder Asiedu Attobrah could not make the Kortrijk squad for their 1-0 loss at Sporting Charleroi.

Bennard Kumordzi was unused by Genk in their 2-1 loss against KV Oostende in the Championship play-offs.

Frank Acheampong was in full time action for Anderlecht who lost 4-0 against Club Brugge.

Nana Akwasi Asare returned from injury to play the last 15 minutes for Gent in their 4-2 loss against Zulte-Waregem.

BULGARIA
Former Ghana youth attacker Francis Narh played the entire match for ten-man Levski Sofia in their 1-0 away win over Pirin Blagoevgrad in the Bulgarian top-flight on Sunday.

EGYPT
Striker Nana Poku scored a brace to help Misr Elmaqasah defeat El Ismaily 3-2 in the Premier League. Striker Emmanuel Banahene also got on target for the losers. Midfielder Toric Jebrin was also in action for Ismaily.

ENGLAND
Andre Ayew scored the equaliser for Swansea City in their 1-1 draw with Manchester City at the Liberty Stadium. It was his 12th goal of the season.

Jordan Ayew starred for the entire game for Aston Villa in their 4-0 mauling by Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

Champions Leicester City held Chelsea to a 1-1 draw at the Stamford Bridge. Baba Rahman started the game for Chelsea. Jeffrey Schlupp came off the bench to assist the equaliser for Leicester City but Daniel Amartey was unused.

Dutch-born Ghanaian attacker Elvis Manu could not make the Brighton & Hove Albion squad for their 2-0 loss against Sheffield Wednesday in the English Promotion Play-offs.

Injured striker Majeed Waris watched his Lorient side managed a slender 1-0 win over GFC Ajaccio at the Stade du Moustoir.

French-born Enock Kwateng came off the Nantes bench in the 72nd minute to play in their 4-0 loss against Paris SG.

Manchester City loanee Yaw Yeboah failed to make the Lille squad for their 1-0 win over St Etienne.

Ghana youth defender Emmanuel Ntim was not in the Valenciennes squad for their 3-3 draw with Niort.

Raman Chibsah warmed the Frosinone bench as Gonzalo Higuain scored a hat-trick to propel Napoli to a 4-0 win over the visitors.

Godfred Donsah was not in the Bologna squad for their 0-0 draw with Chievo Verona.

Afriyie Acquah was dropped to the Torino bench for their 2-1 loss against Empoli.

St Pauli posted a 5-2 win over Kaiserslautern. Ghanaian defender Davidson Drobo-Ampem was not in the Pauli squad while Manfred Osei-Kwadwo also missed the Kaiserslautern squad for the game.

Former Borussia Dortmund midfielder Evans Owusu Nyarko played 45 minutes for Holstein Kiel in their 3-0 loss against Erfurt.

Former AC Milan star Sulley Muntari was not in Al Ittihad squad for their 2-1 away loss against Al-Taawon in the Saudi Pro League on Friday.

TURKEY
Samuel Inkoom excelled in defence for Antalyaspor in their 7-0 victory over Trabzonspor in the Super Lig on Friday.

John Boye was impressive in central defence for Sivasspor in their 1-1 draw at Kayserispor.

In the second-tier league, former Hearts of Oak defender Nuru Suley played in central defence for Alanyaspor in their 2-2 draw at Giresunspor in the second-tier league.

Defender Joseph Attamah did not play for Adana Demirspor in their 2-0 loss at Sanliurfaspor. But midfielder Moro Ibrahim played for Adana.

SPAIN
Winger Christian Atsu came off the bench to score for Malaga in their 4-1 win over Las Palmas in the La Liga on Sunday. Wakaso Mubarak was also introduced in 77 minutes by the Yellows.

Getafe were relegated from the La Liga after losing 2-1 at Real Betis. Ghana midfielder Bernard Mensah was axed from their squad for the game.

Inaki Williams played to help Athletic Club cruise to a 3-1 win over Sevilla in the La Liga.

Slovan Liberec held Mlada Boleslav to a 2-2 draw in the Czech top-flight on Saturday. Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Sackey was in action for Liberec but Dutch-born Kevin Luckassen was not in the Liberec squad for the game.

DENMARK
Defender Francis Dickoh came off the Sonderjyske bench to play against his former side FC Midtjylland in a 3-2 loss.

PORTUGAL
Former Liberty Professionals starlet Emmanuel Hackmann was unused by Boavista in their 4-0 humiliation at FC Porto at the Stadio Dragao.

Samuel Owusu came off the bench to play the entire second-half for Surdulica who lost 4-1 against Red Star Belgrade.

Ghanaian international Edwin Gyimah played the full 90 minutes for Orlando Pirates in their 4-2 Nedbank Cup win over Free State Stars.

SWEDEN
Former Ghana youth defender Joseph Aidoo was unused by Hammarby in their 1-1 draw with Kalmar in the Allsvenskan.

Malmo FF posted a 3-0 win over Gefle IF. Midfielder Enock Adu Kofi played 80 minutes for Malmo while former Heart of Lions midfielder Kwame Bonsu came off the Gefle bench in the 80th minute of the game. Abdul Adams was unused by Gefle.

Falkenbergs slipped to a 4-1 defeat against BK Hacken. Former Right to Dream Academy boy Enock Kwakwa scored the consolation goal but Nasiru Mohammed was not in the Hacken squad for the game. Mohammed Abubakari played the entire match while Baba Mensah warmed the bench.

In other games Sam Mensah helped Ostersunds to a 2-0 win over Goteborg IF. Ghanaian Sabah Lawson warmed the losers bench while forward Prosper Kasim failed to make their squad for the game.

Montreal Impact and Philadelphia Union played out a 1-1 drawn game. Ghanaian Charles Sapong scored the equaliser for Union while Joshua Yaro also featured for them. Dominic Oduro played the entire game for Impact.

Harrison Afful assisted Columbus Crew's opening goal in their 1-1 draw with Colorado Rapids.

New England Revolution won 2-0 against Chicago Fire. Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Johan Kappelhof played in defence for Fire while David Accam returned from injury to play for Fire. Midfielder Gershon Koffie was booked in the 24th minute and lasted 65 minutes for the home side who won the tie.

In the lower-tier league Derek Boateng played 82 minutes for Rayo OKC in their 1-1 draw with Tampa Bay.

CYPRUS
Defender Razak Nuhu lost his place in the Anothorsis Famagusta squad for their 2-2 draw with APOEL Nicossia.
