Revenge re-run: Doctor's son killed in Dakachya
Indore: "Hearing gunshots, Dr Kailash rushed out of the clinic and with help of local residents managed to pin down Mishra and snatch his guns. Mishra was thrashed by residents and handed over to police even as Pankaj was rushed to a private hospital in Indore for treatment," said Shakya.
Pankaj was, however, declared brought dead by hospital authorities.
During interrogation, Mishra, who also owns a clinic, said he sought revenge from the family after the murder of his 13-year-old son in December.
Dr Kailash Kothari is uncle of Santosh Patidar, main accused in the crime, who was arrested along with Nanuram Choudhry and Kanhaiyalal Jat, for abducting and murdering the boy. Patidar would have regular fights with Mishra over petty issues near their clinics. "They were rivals and always ended up arguing. In 2013, Mishra and Patidar were locked in a bloody fight after which an FIR was lodged. In December, 2015, Santosh hatched a plan to eliminate Mishra's son," said Shakya. Locals claim Mishra was angry after Dr Kothari supported Patidar to get bail.
