Belagavi man arrested in Maharashtra

Chandgad (Maharashtra) police have arrested a 25-year-old resident of Belagavi for alleged involvement in five house break-in cases under their jurisdiction and recovered valuables worth Rs 68,000.

Belagavi: Chandgad (Maharashtra) police have arrested a 25-year-old resident of Belagavi for alleged involvement in five house break-in cases under their jurisdiction and recovered valuables worth Rs 68,000.
The accused has been identified as Suresh Maruti Sanadi, a resident of Ramtirth Nagar, Belagavi. According to police officials,
"A team of policemen patrolling on the Belagavi-Vengurla Road on Friday night caught Sanadi when he was suspiciously travelling to Shinoli village.
He was travelling with grinder, wheel cutter, chopper, knife, gas cutter, hand grinding cutter and a rubber pipe after which he confessed of committing five house break-ins," said police sources.
Sanadi also confessed to breaking into open automobile showrooms and garages. He would identify targets in the day time and break into open houses and shops to loot valuables in the night.
