Soccer coach storms off the podium after intense press conference tirade

Tigres coach Ricardo Ferretti was ejected from Saturday’s Liga MX quarterfinals, and he had no patience for the media following the match.

After Tigres’ 4-3 aggregate loss to Monterrey, Ferretti said that he wanted to take questions from female reporters first. When questioned, he became incensed and ripped a reporter.

He said as translated by ESPNFC:

“For me, ladies go first. In your house, you make your rules. In my house, I make them. Here we’re used to doing it like this. I’m not going to discuss it with you. It’s the ladies go first and that’s it.

“Period. I’ve done it like this for six years. And you’re not going to tell me what the (expletive) I have to do. Shut up (expletive)! When this (expletive) shuts up, that’s when I’ll return.”

His ejection came in the 69th minute, but he was obviously still fuming.
