Speed appears to be the cause of a deadly bus collision in Mont-St-Hilaire on Friday afternoon.
Investigators are continuing to examine the crash site and have not confirmed the hypothesis.
Police believe the car was speeding when it crashed into a busload of 40 12-17-year-old students at the intersection of Highway 116 and Authier St. The impact knocked the bus onto its side.
The car’s passenger, 18-year-old Danyka Grabosky, died in the crash. The 19-year-old driver is in critical condition in hospital.
