SEBASTIAN Vettel was told to “stop moaning” by Sky Sports commentator Martin Brundle after the German complained about his former teammate Daniel Ricciardo on team radio.
Ricciardo attempted a daring overtaking manoeuvre on lap 59, only to be repelled by Vettel.
“If I don’t avoid that he is just going straight into my car,” Vettel said. “Honestly, what are we doing? Racing or ping pong?”
Brundle’s response was swift: “Stop moaning”.
“I’m tempted to say it is Grand Prix racing, Sebastian,” said Brundle’s commentary partner David Croft. “And he did brilliantly to keep out of the way.”
