DMK men held for molesting flower vendor

Police arrested two DMK workers on the charge of molesting a woman flower vendor at NSC Bose Road late Friday. Police said the partymen asked her to undress to 'find whether she had taken cash from AIADMK workers' by promising her vote.
Police identified those in custody as Suresh of Sowcarpet and Ayyappan of Tondiarpet. The victim told the police that the men approached her and 'grilled' her.In spite of her denial, they wanted her to remove her sari.
She ran for safety and took asylum at the Flower Bazaar police station. Based on her complaint, police registered a case. A court remanded them in custody.
