Five held for selling fake cosmetic products
Five persons were arrested in Laad Bazaar for selling duplicates of cosmetic products belonging to Hindustan Uniliver on Saturday.
Hyderabad: Five persons were arrested in Laad Bazaar for selling duplicates of cosmetic products belonging to Hindustan Uniliver on Saturday.
Police said five shop keepers- S Dinesh Kumar, Mohammed Ali, Dinesh Kumar, Abhishek Vijay Wargi, Syed Mustafa Ali- were arrested under 420 (cheating) of IPC, Trademarks Act and Indian Copy Rights Act.
Officials said that some of the seized products include BB - Instant Fair Look Make-up Finish, Lakme Kajal-black, Lakme Face Magic, Lakme Perfect Radiance Intense Whitening Foundation, Lakme Absolute, Ponds White Beauty, BB+ Whitening Sun Block, Lip Love Lip Care and Lakme Absolute Curling Mascara.The arrests were made following a complaint given by employees of Hindustan Uniliver.
