Entertainment » OtherPosted at: May 14 2016 9:28PM Chief of Naval Staff Visits in ENCVisakhapatnam, May 14 (UNI): Admiral RK Dhowan, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, ADC, Chief of the Naval Staff accompanied by Smt. Minu Dhowan,President, Naval Wives Welfare Association(NWWA) arrived here today.A ENC Spokesman said here tonight, on a two-day farewell visit to the Command. On arrival, Admiral RK Dhowan was received by Vice Admiral HCS Bisht, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief with a Guard of Honour at INS Dega. During his stay, the Chief of the Naval Staff will interact with Officers, Sailors and Defence Civilians of the Eastern Naval Command, as also embark the Eastern Fleet at sea on tomorrow. Admiral Dhowan retires from the Navy on 31 May 16 after over four decades of distinguished service. An alumnus of the National Defence Academy, the Admiral was commissioned in the Indian Navy in July 1975.
