Presently, Belagavi tahasildar has imposed section 144 IPC on disputed property.
In a press conference, Munavalli said there is no provision in CrPC to impose prohibitory orders on private property.
High court has clearly instructed police department to give protection to Kulkarni family to enjoy the property, giving verdict against the Methodist Church authorities. “Although, I am a member of Congress party, but we will meet opposition leaders BS Yeddyurappa, Jagadish Shettar and HD Kumarswami seeking help to get justice. We will also file contempt of court against local police and tahasildar Preetam Nasalapure and another case for hatching criminal conspiracy to book members of Kulkarni family and him in false cases”, Munavalli said. He said district in-charge minister Satish Jarkiholi and local MLA Firoz Sait are interested in the disputed property and trying to grab the precious land from backdoor.
