‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Nikki Sees Katherine Chancellor? An Old Friend Appears To Nikki And Forces Her To Put Down The Booze

The late Katherine Chancellor was the voice of reason, and a dear friend to Nikki Newman. The Young and the Restless hasn’t been the same since she died three years ago. CBS Soaps In Depth teased that on Monday’s episode, Nikki will see Katherine at a time she needs her most. Will Katherine help Nikki walk away and stay sober, or will her visit drive her to drink?

The Young and the Restless wanted to find some way to honor Jeanne Cooper this week. It’s been three years since she passed away, and her presence is missed every day on the show. Nikki and Katherine were best friends and were always there to support each other. Now more than ever, Nikki could use some help from Mrs. C, and it looks like in her time of need, bestie Mrs. Chancellor comes through for her in a big way.

During the week of May 16- 20, Nikki will face a big challenge on The Young and the Restless. She will be faced with an intense urge to drown her troubles in a bottle of Vodka. Nikki decides to head to the Genoa City Athletic Club to quench her thirst for a Vodka tonic. Before she can take her first sip, she is interrupted by Meredith, who wants her to know that she is doing everything she can to help her husband. Nikki tells her not to trust Victor because he can be convincing when he needs something. One thing Nikki is sure about is, Victor is hell-bent on revenge, and she’s pretty sure that she is at the top of his list.

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that right after Meredith leaves, Jack appears. He asks her if she wants a ride home, and tries to take her drink out of her hand. Jack tries to convince her that drinking isn’t the answer, and he is worried about her. Nikki mumbles that he should go home to Phyllis.

“You should be glad you have someone to love. I have no one. I am beginning to think Victor never loved me.”

Soap Opera Digest reported that Nikki will see an old friend and they have some encouraging words for her. It looks like Katherine’s memories flood back as she remembers how loved she felt in her presence. Nikki recalls feeling unloved growing up and begs Katherine’s spirit to help her. She tells her she misses her more than she ever has before, and needs her. The show likely will have some tear-jerking scenes to show with Nikki and Katherine.

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that after remembering how strong she felt with Katherine supporting her when she was alive. Nikki decides to toss the liquor bottle in the trash and vows to make Mrs. Chancellor proud of her.
