Bhumika, Sehajpreet top Class XII exams in Fatehgarh Sahib district

FATEHGARH SAHIB: Girls outshone boys in Class XII results declared by the Punjab School Education Board today as none of the boys in Fatehgarh Sahib district made it to the merit list.

Girls outshone boys in Class XII results declared by the Punjab School Education Board today as none of the boys in Fatehgarh Sahib district made it to the merit list.

Bhumika and Sehajpreet Kaur of Mata Gujri Ashoka Senior Secondary School (MGASSS), Sirhind, and Giani Dit Singh Memorial Government Sr Sec School (GDSMGSSS), Nandpur Klaud, respectively, shared the first position in the district and the 15th rank in the state in the non-medical stream with 96.89 per cent marks.

Kajal of the MGASSS and Anmol of Guru Nanak Public Sr Sec School (GNPSSS), Khant Maanpur (Khamanon), secured the first position (16th rank) and second position (22nd rank) with 96.67 and 95.33 per cent marks, respectively, in the medical stream.

Nishtha of the MGASSS and Simranjit Kaur of the GNPSSS secured the second position in the district (19th rank) and third (20th rank) in the non-medical stream with 96 and 96.78 per cent marks, respectively.

Husanpreet Kaur and Manpreet Kaur of the same school secured the fourth position and (22nd rank) with 85.33 per cent marks.
