Ragini Dwivedi's new avataar

When director Pradeep Raj offered Ragini Dwivedi a role in his next film, Kichchu, she was pleasantly surprised. 'The role is that of a coffee estate worker and Pradeep wanted me to speak in the Chikmagalur local dialect and sport a very rustic look. Considering that I am considered a rather stylish actress, I was surprised that Pradeep had written a de-glam role with me in mind.In the past few days, I have been out and about in the sun to get tanned for the character. I begin shooting for the film by the end of the month,' says Ragini. The film also stars Saikumar, Suchendra Prasad and Dhruva in lead roles. But does Ragini have a romantic interest in the film? 'No and I don't need one in this story. This is a character-driven film and has some fantastic roles,' she adds.
