I almost play myself in Karvva: Tilak

I almost play myself in Karvva: Tilak
Tilak Shekar plays a rich, spoilt brat who is into gambling, splurging and, of course, women in his upcoming film Karvva, some of which he relates to. 'While I may not identify with every aspect of the person I play, it was not tough to fit into the character in terms of style, attitude and body language. It was almost like playing myself,' says Tilak. In fact, the outfits that Tilak sports in the film are from his own collection.
'The filmmakers were particular about casting me the way I look and dress offscreen. So, instead of having a costume rehearsal or any such thing, the team came over to my own house, checked out my wardrobe and decided the look I would be sporting in the film based on the way I usually dress,' reveals Tilak. The film, directed by Navneet, is a horror-thriller, which will hit screens shortly.
