Modi's Somalia statements were misinterpreted, says Parrikar

ALAPPUZHA: Defence minister Manohar Parrikar said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had compared Kerala’s Attappadi with Somalia and his statements regarding Somlia were misinterpreted here.
"He did not compare entire Kerala with Somalia. He compared only Attapadi of Kerala with Somalia based on international study reports. There is nothing wrong in it," he said.
Parrikar was speaking to newsmen as part of election special press meet titled `Janasamaksham’ of Alappuzha Press Club on Friday.
