This Desi Canadian Band Just Shot A Killer Video Around 'Sholay' With The Kids From Dharavi

Right in the heart of Mumbai lies the world's largest slum area - Dharavi. Home to about a million people, and a number of industries within the area, Dharavi is without a shadow of a doubt, a city within a city. If you've ever ventured around the city, you'll know what a happening place it has become. You can even get yourself a guided tour around the area now. 

Which is why when a desi Canadian band shot their music video with the kids of Dharavi in Dharavi, it was bound to make waves and deservedly so. Delhi 2 Dublin is a desi band from Vancouver playing Electronic, Funk, Dub Reggae, Hip Hop and of course, Bhangra. For their latest video, they got the kids of Dharavi to re-create a classic - Sholay.

The video shows two kids, Jai and Veeru rollicking about Dharavi until the bad kid, Gabbar, along with his goon goes ahead and knocks off Jai. Well, sort off. While the plot largely remains the same, the story has been played around with a little. No one's really complaining, as the song and the video compliment each other very well.
