AITC leader accused of leading murderous mob, held

Kolkata, May 13 (UNI) Trinamool Congress leader and Panchayat Upa-pradhan Tapas Mallick, accused of
leading a mob that lynched an engineering student at Mandirbazar, Diamond Harbour in South 24 Parganas district on Tuesday, has been arrested from Bamungachi area in North 24 Parganas, police said today.
Mallick, who was arrested yesterday, is likely to be produced in a court later today.
