World Nurses Day celebrated

Meenakshi Mission Hospital and Research Centre (MMHRC) celebrated World Nurses Day on Thursday. Dr Ramesh Ardhanari, medical director of MMHRC, praised nurses for their important role in health care industries.
Two booked for cheating firm of Rs15L: Two persons, who were executives of a pharmaceutical company, and a few others have been booked for cheating the company to the tune of Rs 15 lakh over the period of three years.The accused were identified as Silambarasan, son of Ravi, and Nagaprabhu, son of Ravi. They were booked by Koodalpudur police based on a complaint from the manager of the company Aiyub Khan. Police said the accused printed fake bills and collected money from their customers and cheated the company without paying money. An audit that was conducted recently revealed about the cheating.
Man missing: A 32-year-old man went missing after he suffered heavy loss in his finance business. Palanivel Thillai Kumar, 32, son of Balasubramaniam, was running Matrix finance company in the city. Police said he faced severe loss in his business recently. He went missing on May 2. Based on a complaint from his mother, Vijayakumari a case was filed with police, and search is on for the missing person.
